An insatiable fan of horror and crime thrillers (as well as the occasional rock biography), Matthew Pongratz is an avid writer and reader of tales that dive in and explore the darker side of human nature.

While taking a break from his current projects, he also enjoys hiking, Pickleball, working on his jump shot in the driveway, cooking, reading, and going for walks with his dog, Buddy. He currently resides in Michigan with his wife and their daughter.
